  1. When do I Sign-Up?
    1. Online registration opens April 1st.  You can pay online or wait to pay in person on the dates below.
    2. Returning Players sign up online and get equipment on a Saturday in August. 
    3. New Players sign up online and go through an evaluation and get equipment on a Saturday in August.
  2. What does my child need to wear to sign-ups?
         a. Please have them wear athletic shoes, shorts, and tee shirt. They will be running through a mini-combine to assess their skills. 
  3. How do I Sign-Up?
    1. You can register online and pay online with a credit / debit card or pay with cash, check, or credit card the day of evaluations.
    2. Returning players can register online or at equipment pickup day and can pay with cash, check, or credit card.

  4. Is it tackle football?
    1. Yes, we play full pads tackle football.
  5. When are the games?
    1. Each team will play on either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday only.
    2. They will play at 5:30 or 7:00.
  6. Where are the games?
    1. Every game is held at Curtis Walker Park located on Museum Road, with the exception of one game possibly in Bigelow or Mayflower.
  7.  Who can play?
    1. Boys or Girls in grades 2nd – 6th, they cannot be 13 years old by September 1st of the current year.
  8. When are the practices?
    1. The first two weeks of the season each team is granted five practices per week.
    2. After the first games start, each team is allowed three meetings per week.   Of these three, a game counts as one.  So, if they have a game then they can only have two practices that week.
    3. Each coach determines when and where they practice.  
  9. How are the teams organized?
    1. There are two leagues 4th – 6th Grade and 2nd – 3rd grade.
      1. The 4th – 6th grade league is divided into two subcategories.
        1. B – Team is comprised of mainly 4th and 5th graders and is used for developing players.  The rules are slightly relaxed and two coaches are on the field for each team. No 6th graders can play in the B-Game unless there are special circumstances.
        2. A – Team is comprised of mainly 6th and 5th graders.  This is a little more competitive and faster paced.
      2. The 2nd – 3rd grade league is only one team and they play other 2nd – 3rd grade teams only.
  10. How long are the games?
    1. 4th – 6th Grade Games: There is a B-Game and A-Game.
      1. The B-Game has two fifteen-minute halves with a running clock.
      2. The A-Game has four seven-minute quarters with the clock stopping under Optimist rules.

  11. Can I help with the team?
    1. Absolutely!  Each parent Male or Female is encouraged to help!  Contact your coach for more information!
  12. I am a new player and went through the Mini-Combine, what do I do now?
    1. Wait until your new coach contacts you!  You should be contacted by Sunday night after registration. If you are not, on Monday please call the Commissioner.
  13. What equipment do I need to bring / buy?
    1. If you have rented equipment, you will need a mouth piece, cleats, practice jersey, athletic cup.
  14. What equipment do you offer to rent?
    1. We have a rental agreement that covers: Custom fit helmet by certified USA Football coaches, Shoulder pads, padded pants, Guardian Cap, and game jersey.
  15. What is the black pad on the outside of each helmet? 
    1. These are called Guardian Caps. 
    2. The Guardian Cap is the leading soft shell helmet cover engineered for impact reduction.  It brings a padded, soft-shell layer to the outside of the decades old hard-shell football helmet and reduces impact up to 33%.
  16. How are the coaches screened?
    1. Each on-the-field coach has passed a third-party background check & completed USA Football's level one certification.
  17. What if I have a problem with something in the league or team?
    1. Please work the chain of command. (Please don’t turn to social media to voice your issues before taking the steps below.  Please ensure you have the entire story. )
      1. Start with your head coach.
      2. If you don’t get anywhere, please refer to the Commissioner.
  18. Who runs the league?
    1. The league is ran by the Conway Noon Rotary Club
      1. Each member is a volunteer and receives no compensation for their time and effort.
  19. How do I pre-register my athlete? 
    1. First you have to login or create an account with our website. 
    2. Then you may proceed with the registration. 
  20. Do you offer Cheerleading? 
    1. Starting in the Fall 2002, Conway Noon Rotary will offer cheerleading. 
  21. Who can participate in the Cheerleading program? 
    1. Anyone grades K-7th.
